Community Guidelines

We built ebokstream around three simple ideas:

• Create freely — express yourself and build an audience.
• Stay safe — everyone deserves a platform free from harm and abuse.
• Be real — authentic creators and genuine interactions come first.

Guidelines apply to everyone equally, including our largest creators.

Treat others how you'd want to be treated. We do not allow:

• Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, or coordinated pile-ons.
• Doxxing — sharing someone's private information without consent.
• Demeaning, sexualizing, or degrading other users.

Content that puts people at risk is strictly prohibited:

• Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies violence.
• Promotion of self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Dangerous acts or challenges likely to cause serious injury.
• Content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors — this is reported to the relevant authorities and results in an immediate, permanent ban.
• Promotion of terrorism, violent extremism, or criminal organizations.

Genuine activity keeps the platform trustworthy. Don't:

• Impersonate other people, brands, or ebokstream staff.
• Run spam, scams, phishing, or deceptive financial schemes.
• Artificially inflate views, likes, followers, or engagement.
• Spread harmful misinformation (e.g. medical or election-related).
• Abuse hashtags or categories to mislabel your content for reach.

Pornography and sexually explicit content are not allowed. Some mature themes (mild profanity, non-graphic themes) may be permitted but must be marked as age-restricted so they are kept away from younger audiences. Nudity intended to be sexually gratifying is removed.

Only upload content you have the right to share:

• Don't post videos, music, or images you don't own or aren't licensed to use.
• Respect copyright, trademarks, and creators' rights.
• Rights holders can request removal of infringing content via our copyright process.

Comments and audio-note comments follow the same standards as every other form of content. Keep conversations civil — spam, harassment, and hate in comments will be removed, and repeat offenders lose commenting access.

Creators control their own spaces: you can limit who comments on your videos and who can message you in your privacy settings.

We use a combination of automated checks and human review. Depending on severity and history, actions may include:

• Reducing a piece of content's reach in feeds and search.
• Age-restricting or removing the content.
• Issuing warnings or temporary feature restrictions (e.g. commenting, uploading).
• Suspending or permanently banning accounts for serious or repeated violations.

Egregious violations — especially those involving child safety or credible threats — skip the warning stage and result in immediate removal and a ban.

See something that breaks these rules? Use the Report or Flag option on any video or comment (the ⋯ menu). Reports are confidential and reviewed by our moderation team.

If you believe your content or account was actioned in error, you can appeal by contacting support@ebokstream.com. We review appeals and restore content when we get it wrong.
